Two Poems about the effects of Abuse

Pain...

Hitting the skin with intensity that makes your body quiver.

Thrashing about, screaming aloud, begging for mercy

does no good when pain enters into your doorway.

Tears roll down your eyes....

Mercy...

Please....

Pain has no eyes, it does not hear nor does it feel.

Hitting your skin with intensity that soon turns red.

Cry if you must but it will never stop.

Not until it finds itself another victim...

 "P A I N "

I'm in a mood.

Full of despair and doom.

Darkness is everywhere,

Does anybody really care?

Weak and withered is what I've become,
dying slowly with or without sun.

In my darkness, I've shed some tears,
trying to figure out my wasted years.

I'm in a mood,
hoping the end is soon.
Tired of being cut down to size,
like a tree in pains so am I.
I live in sorrow with my past,
darkness hovered over me; it never seems to pass.

Like a flower dying without rain,
they to suffer my pain.

I'm in a mood,
Full of despair and doom.
In my darkness I scream in pain,
The echoes in my head make me Insane.

In my darkness I live in fear,
hoping and praying for the end to be near.

So I could go to a place where I belong,
An ominous world above us, we call home.
